I felt lost at times. Often, I questioned my choices and searched for new answers. I transferred schools, switched majors, and changed my mind a lot. But the journey gave me time to explore and experience what I needed. Today, after three degrees, I am more intentional, reflective, and forward-looking when making decisions.

PhD Public Communication and Technology

August 2017 to 2021

I want to learn as much as possible, so I dove off the deep end. The JMC graduate program focuses on two important concerns in society: 1) the role of information in the public’s understanding of contemporary issues, trends and events, and 2) the impact of new communication technologies on citizens and professional communicators.

MS Public Communication and Technology

August 2015 to May 2017

As both a theoretical and applied program, I am prepared for a career with social and consumer research; strategic communication; multimedia-based content; and training and teaching at the college/ adult education level.

BA in Communication Studies, Minor in Information Science and Technology

August 2012 to May 2015

After transferring from Colorado Mesa University in search for a larger, more diverse experience-- Colorado State prepared me for a career related to event planning, communication, media, and writing.


My minor required courses from Journalism, Business, and Computer Science to expand my background in communication product development.
